How much time is required for each of the four main sections (The Framework of Third-Party Risk Management, The Intersection Points of TPRM, TPRM Life Cycle, and Deep Dive into the Documents of TPRM)

The amount of time to complete the certification can vary depending on learning style, etc. but we designed the program to take approximately 24 hours to complete. Approximate times are 3-5 hours of material per main section plus study and exam time.

What type of course content is used to deliver this certification?

Course content consists of videos, e-books, one pagers. All content and testing is on demand and self-paced.

The NCVMP registration page mentions the program is Ncontracts 2-year NCVMP certification course, does it mean the certification is only valid for 2 years?

Upon completion of the coursework and passing test grade for an Nstitute certification, a Nstitute Certified Vendor Management Professional (NCVMP) certification will be awarded. The certification will be effective for 2 years from the certification award date.

After the 2-year certification, will I be able to renew the certification? If so, how much is the renewal fee?

Upon expiration of your two-year certification period, you will need to register for the recertification course in Nstitute to maintain your certification and regain access to the NCVMP coursework.  NCVMP recertification course currently retails for $1,135 for an additional two years.

If you do not pass the exam the first time, what is the retake cost?

You have three (3) attempts to pass each exam. As long as an exam is passed within the third attempt, there is no additional costs. Note: Our exams are designed to test on relevant and intuitive material. All students have passed the exams within 2 attempts to date.

Are annual CPE credits required to keep the certificate during the 2 years before recertification period?

Annual CPEs are not required to maintain the NCVMP certificate prior to recertification. One payment provides a 2-year certification with no financial or CPE obligation. The only requirement is satisfactory completion of the exams.

How long can I access the material in the NCVMP certification course after I complete the exams and earn my certification?

Once enrolled in an Nstitute certification course, you will have access to the course content in Nstitute for two years from the enrollment date.
